Compact unit generates a 2300Hz tone at approx 85db. Unit is rated for 5 volt operation but has been tested on 12 volts (constant use for 8 hours) and functioned perfectly. Excellent as warning buzzers in automotive, motorcycle, robotic and hobbyist applications. Also a great addition to educational and science fair solar projects - a real attention grabber.
