The Schleuniger MP8015 Coax Cable Stripping Machine is an electric table-top model capable of high-precision, multi-step stripping (up to 9 stripping steps) of coaxial cables in one single operation. The integrated microprocessor-based control system permits the independent programming of such parameters as cable diameter, full-strip and/or partial-strip length, blade way-back etc. Programming the individual stripping steps is a simple matter. For each step you simply enter the desired strip length and diameter. To prevent the rotating blades from touching and nicking the individual structural elements of the cable (shielding, dielectric, inner conductor) during the stripping process, a blade way-back can be programmed whereby, after the cutting process, the blades retract by a predefined amount prior to the stripping process.
