The crates are marked "From Optical glass depot, Corning glass, Parkersburg, W. Va." and addressed to "Frankford Arsenal, Rochester, NY." They are WWII-era units probably intended for binoculars or perhaps gun-bomb sites. The labels on all paper packages include the following information: Drawing No. A317331

Mfg. By: Eastman Kodak Company
Each prism blank measures approximately 2.19 inches long by 1.19 wide. They are molded with the drawing number (A317331) and "EK" (Eastman Kodak).
