The General Purpose (G.P.) model is designed to be a versatile solution for the retail and office automation sectors. The Wide Angle (W.A.) model has been designed specifically for retail. It has impressively consistent performance from contact through to 20 cm on 100% magnification EAN/UPC codes. The Very High Density (V.H.D.) model is able to read codes down to a narrow bar width of only 0.06 mm (2.5 mils)! It is therefore ideal for use in the electronics and pharmaceutical industries. An integrated multistandard decoder is standard in all models and provides reliable reading of damaged and even marginal specification codes. Plus, the three interface possibilities (Pen Emulation, RS232 and Wedge) and plug-in cables allow integration into any system. Furthermore, the DLL5010-M is available without decoder (DLL5010-01) and with TTL laser output, which provides a cost-effective solution when the SHARK needs to be connected to an external decoder.
