Agilent HP 8902A measuring receiver. The HP / Agilent 8902A Measuring Receiver combines the capabilities of a frequency counter, distortion analyzer, modulation meter, attenuation receiver, and power meter to give complete, accurate characterization of cw and modulated signals in the 150 kHz to 1300 MHz frequency range. It accurately measures AM, FM, and Phase modulation and recovers the modulation signal. It measures the RF frequency, RF power, modulation frequency, and distortion at 400 Hz and 1 kHz. Post detection filters allow the user to accurately characterize the modulation. Options 030 through 037 permit adjacent-channel power measurements or carrier-noise measurements. For increased frequency accuracy, an optional high stability time base, option 002, is available. A built-in AM/FM Calibrator permits quick confidence checks of measurement accuracy. AM and FM accuracy is 1%. A built-in 50 MHz power reference ensures that the 11722A Power Sensor makes accurate RF power measurements.
