receiver circuit with 2 IF stages, AVC, loop antenna, push-pull output stage, 4" wide range speaker and a cabinet that houses the finished radio. Operates on 4 "D" batteries. The circuit uses 6 transistors and since each stage is built and
checked by the student before proceeding, it offers a much better grounding than any kits available today which feature full integrated circuit construction. In this older style, the student actually gains an understanding as to how each stage functions.
These are almost impossible to find, but we found a few hundred of these complete, unassembled kits that were used by many school systems to guide students towards this fascinating field. As these are older kits (but brand new) they could also be thought
